Thanksgiving Dinner and a Movie

I hope you’re spending today with loved ones reflecting on all you have to be thankful for.

Maybe you’re overflowing with gratitude, maybe you’re not, but it’s worth remembering that no matter how bad things might seem, they could always be worse; which means there’s always a lot to be thankful about!  And grateful is a great way to be.

If you’re looking for a movie to share while you prepare dinner today, I recommend the classic Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) directed by John Hughes, staring Steve Martin and John Candy, which portrays the misadventure of an unlikely duo trying to get home in time for Thanksgiving with their families.  It is in my humble opinion the perfect Thanksgiving Day movie full of heart and laughter.  So break out a pumpkin beer and count your blessings.

Also special thanks to who I think made the pixel turkey image above.
